Reservation Policies

To secure a reservation we require a check in the amount of $200.00. Your check will not be cashed,
        but held in file, then voided and mailed back to you upon check out inspection.
Your reservation will be held for 7 days pending the receipt of your security deposit. 
        Your check should be made payable to Port Orford Property Management and mailed to PO box 174 Port Orford,
        Oregon 97465.
Payment is due 2 weeks prior to checking in.  We are able to take credit card payments through pay pal only. 
        If paying by credit card please log on to www.rentportorford.com and click on the pay now button.
        Enter Blue Haven in the description line and the total amount due in the unit price box.
You may pick up your keys at our office, location 303 Dock Rd. Down at the Port of Port Orford. 
        If you will be arriving after 5:00PM please call for alternate arrangements.


                                                               Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and reservation changes are subject to a $25.00 processing fee.
Cancellations received 2 weeks or more prior to your scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund less
        the $25.00 processing fee.  Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before your scheduled arrival date will be refunded in
        full only if the reserved time can be rebooked at the same rate.  In the event that we are able to partially fill your
        canceled space, we will refund the recovered amount, less the $25.00 processing fee.

                                                                 House Policies

Check out time is at 11:00 am.  A late check out may be possible depending on reservation schedule. 
        Please inquire at time of check in.
Check in time is at 4:00 PM.  In some cases we may be able to let you in earlier depending on reservation schedule.
We trust our guests will respect our property and leave it in a condition that requires only normal cleaning. 
        We will charge guests the actual cost of replacement, cleaning or repairs if our property is removed from the
        premises damaged or left in a condition that requires additional cleaning.  Your cleaning fee does not cover time
        for the housekeeper  to place furniture back to its original position, so if you move furniture please return it before
        leaving or you will be charged additional time.
Well behaved pets are negotiable in some of the properties.  Please let us know about any pets you may bringing with you            at the time you make the reservation.  If you fail to disclose your pet you will be subject to immediate eviction and lose all
        funds paid.  Please pick up after your pet.  You will be charged extra if the housekeeper has to clean up
        any pet waste from the premises.
No smoking is allowed anywhere on the premises.
        If you smoke on the premises you will be charged the actual cost of cleaning the smoke damage from the property.
When checking out please do your dishes, get laundry started, make sure heat is off and all windows and doors are
        closed and locked.  Return key to the drop box located in our office door.

                                                               Assumption of risk

Tenant assumes all risk of loss or damage to property or person as a result of Tenant’s or Tenant’s guests’
        (collectively “Tenant”) use of any items on landlord’s premises including but not limited to equipment,
        appliances and tools. 
        Tenant’s use of such items is solely and strictly at tenant’s own risk.  Landlord does not warrant or make
        any representation as to the fitness for use of any such item or that any such item will function properly.
Tenant is aware that this home is a vacation rental home.   It has a dock, railings, decks, stairs, access to beach
        or lake and many other DANGERS.  Please use CAUTION.   Please keep small children under constant supervision.
        Tenant is solely responsible for insuring the safety of small children, themselves or any guest of tenant.
Tenant is solely responsible for, and agrees to and does hold Landlord absolutely harmless, from any and all liability,
        injury, death or harm of any kind as a result of Tenant’s rental of this property.

                                                          Right to Cancel Reservation
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation we deem to be inappropriate, made through the online booking tool for any               reason we see fit.
